Baruch College

Baruch College has deep roots in the history of public education in NYC. It was actually part of the Free Academy, which is the public University that would eventually become The City College of NYC. It was established as City College’s School of Business and Civic Administration. It was renamed in honor of Bernard M. Baruch in 1953 and then became an independent entity in the CUNY system in 1968.This amazingly diverse, multicultural campus is largely kas one of the largest well respected business schools in the nation, Baruch also boasts a diverse research community as well that is made up of award winning research faculty and staff. STEM RA students have the opportunity to engage in fascinating research content areas that include environmental science, organizational psychology, plant science and fly genetics.
